About Stacie

“I am focused on accomplishing your real estate goals and will go above and beyond to achieve the best outcome.”

I am native to the Washington Metropolitan area, having grown up in Alexandria Virginia and attended Howard University in Washington DC. I lived in several cities/states–Cincinnati, Baltimore, Boston, Kansas City — before coming home to the DMV in 1986. Prior to real estate, I earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and spent 12 years managing consumer product brands at Procter & Gamble, the Sprint Corporation, and Black Entertainment Television. The range of business skills acquired in these positions – especially the marketing, strategy and negotiating — have greatly accelerated my real estate career and provided tremendous benefits to clients. It was after I married and decided to start a family, that I recognized the changing trends in the city and increasing home values. So, with baby on hip, I began purchasing and renovating properties in undervalued areas of the city and discovered a passion for real estate investment and design which led me to launch a real estate business in 2001.

I also have a passion for the community and believe in “paying it forward”. I consider one of my greatest life accomplishments founding Extra-Ordinary Life — a non-profit organization that nurtured and instilled dreams in teen girls living in the DC foster care system. In 2010, I took a group of foster youth to South Africa during the World Cup games—a life changing experience for them (and me) which was filmed as a documentary and shown in 54 countries. I also took a year sabbatical from real estate to head up Community Impact and Investments for the United Way of the National Capital Area, striving to improve education, health and income opportunities for local families. I’ve been fortunate to be appointed by the last two Mayors of the District of Columbia, to serve on Commissions including the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC)—the federal planning agency that approves all plans/projects that impact the nation’s capital and surrounding areas; and the Real Property Tax Appeals Commission (RPTAC). I am thankful to have two beautiful children that keep me on my toes. Outside of work, I love to travel, decorate, attempt water sports and indulge in delicious food and wine.

I am proud to say that after 18 years and $250+ million in sales, I still love my job and hope you will consider me and my team to help you make well informed real estate decisions!
